WILSON STUDENT SELECTED AS CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM
We are pleased to announce the selection of Wilson student Isabella Smythe as a candidate for the Presidential Scholars Program. This program recognizes and honors our nations most distinguished seniors who are chosen on the basis of their accomplishments in academic and artistic success, leadership, and involvement in school and the community. Those candidates who are selected at Semifinalists and Scholars will be notified in April/May. "What a great achievement for both Isabella and the Wilson staff!" adds PPS Superintendent Carole Smith. Congratulations to Isabella and herparents, Tim and Vonna Smythe.

Register now for the AP exams taking place the first two weeks of May. Students scoring well on the exam may receive college credit. Students must register by February 22nd, with payment of $89 per test Registrations by 2/10 entered into drawing. Don’t pass up this opportunity if fees are a concern. Fees are waived for students on the Free & Reduced Lunch Program; just complete a form available in the office to receive the waiver and return it with your registration. Not on Free & Reduced Lunch but the cost is a financial hardship? Financial assistance is available for others needing help paying the fee.
