The Harriet Tubman Leadership Academy for Young Women will prepare students for success in college and future careers in an environment that is tailored to stimulate their intellectual curiosity and to address their developmental needs.

Enrollment
- We will begin accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year for grades 6-12 in January 2012. Applications for the current school year (2011-12) are considered on an individual basis. Contact the school for more information.
- Open to any young woman in the Portland Public Schools through the enrollment & transfer process.

School Uniforms
Students are required to come to school every day in uniform. The uniform consists of a white polo shirt for middle school or a yellow polo shirt for high school, and navy blue, khaki or black bottoms (pants or skirt). Name brands are not permitted on clothing. The uniform clothing may be purchased at a variety of stores around Portland.
