We are already looking forward to next year.  Many key positions for our fundraising efforts have been chaired by parents of fifth graders, and we would love to find folks willing to take on the lead organizing positions for the 2013-14 school year.

Stephenson Elementary School would not be what it is today without the help of our incredible volunteers. Many of our enrichment programs, activities, and fundraisers can happen only with help from our volunteers. Unfortunately, programs have been dropped when we don’t have any coordinators or enough volunteers. Please consider your time, and give back what you can to our school and to our children.

Did you know that students with parents involved in their education are more likely to:  

•Earn higher grades and test scores, and enroll in higher-level programs;
•Be promoted, pass their classes, and earn credits;
•Attend school regularly;
•Have better social skills, show improved behavior, and adapt well to school; and
•Graduate and go on to postsecondary education

PPS Application to Volunteer Form (aka: background check). This needs to be renewed every 3 years. Third Grade Parents!  If you filled this out when your child entered Stephenson as a kindergartener, you need to fill this out this year!
