My career as a teacher is just as rewarding as I thought it would be. I look forward to each day I get to work with students. Finding each child's strengths and building on them brings me joy.

I received my Bachelor's of Education from University Portland, and did my student teaching in Kindergarten and 5th grade at Astor. I started at Sitton in 1999 as a reading specialist. I received my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from George Fox University in 2003.
