Navigating the Middle School Years
Middle school is such an important time for social growth. It can also be a very stressful time. Each child is going through so many changes. We offer a wide range of activities to help students navigate these years, allowing them to test and grow new skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
When a student does hit a rough spot, Sellwood Middle School has an onsite counselor who is always available to guide the student and resolve the issue. In addition, we have student Peer Helpers who assist the counselor when appropriate.
