Are you interested in enrolling your child in Sabin’s Pre-K or Kindergarten programs?  If you are, you can visit Sabin and learn more from the teachers and principal on February 23.  Two introductory sessions will be held in the auditorium on the 2nd floor:  9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and in the evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.  

Sabin School offers a fee-based half-day pre-kindergarten program as well as 3 free full-day kindergarten classrooms. Sabin School, grades Pre-K through 5th, is an authorized IB World School and offers a high quality international education to each child with instruction structured according to each student's developmental needs, abilities and strengths. 

Your child must be 4 by Sept. 1 of the enrolling year to start pre- kindergarten, and 5 by Sept. 1 to enroll in kindergarten.

SABIN SCHOOL:  IB World School - Primary Years Programme

Sabin School's PYP programme, grades Pre-K through 5, is now authorized as an IB World School*.  We are pursuing authorization for the MYP, grades 6-8 and will be visited by a team from IB in early May to determine how well we are meeting IB programme requirements. IB World schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Sabin believes is important for our students.

*Only schools authorized by the IB organization can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), or the Diploma Programme. Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.

The Primary Years Programme (PYP) for pupils aged 3 to 12 focuses on the development of the whole child in the classroom and in the world outside.

The Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students aged 11 to 16 provides a framework of academic challenge and life skills through embracing and transcending traditional school subjects.
