We are hoping that the Roseway Heights PTA will continue the reputation of having some of the best volunteers around. This is because our parents, teachers and community members care about our children and our school. We need your support and membership to keep PTA advocating for our children.
What is PTA
When you join Roseway Heights PTA, you are joining at the state and national level. The mission of the PTA is:
- Support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools and community before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children
- Assist parents in developing skills they need to raise and protect children
- Encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
What does PTA do at Roseway Heights?
Roseway Heights PTA raises money for library books, safety patrol, field day, Mad Science Scholarships, science fair, clothing closet, staff appreciation, student aid, and teacher out-of-pocket classroom expenses. Plus, a lot more.
When does PTA meet?
PTA meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM in the school library. Check the school calendar. Child care is provided.
How can you become a member?
Go to www.oregonpta.org and click on Join Now. Then follow the directions to the membership form. Easy as that! You can pay with credit card or check. You can also send the link to all your extended family who may like to support your child's school by becoming a member.
