Spirit Week

Crazy Hat Day

We had a lot of fun during Spirit week. The kids and I enjoyed the challenge of coming up, each day, with creative ideas to surprise one another. A very famous person came to school on Thursday...Mrs. Claus!! I think she was taking notes for the Naughty and Nice list for Santa. I peeked and saw that her list was full of very nice children from Rm.177!!

Thought for the Day

One day I found two pumpkin seeds. I planted one and pulled the weeds. It sprouted roots and a big, long vine. A pumpkin grew; I called it mine. The pumpkin was quite round and fat. (I really am quite proud of that.) But there is something I'll admit...that I was worried just a bit. I ate the other seed, you see. Now will it grow inside of me? (I'm so relieved since I have found that pumpkins only grow in the ground!)
