Author Arthur Dorros came to Rigler this spring and was amazed to see the incredible projects the students had created to go with his books!

The kindergartners created their own idea of what they would see if they flew over Rigler School.
1st Grade

The 1st graders used pastels to illustrate a favorite activity with a person that is important to them
2nd Grade
The 2nd graders thought about the important of teamwork with the book Numero Uno.
3rd Grade

The 3rd graders created their own quilt squares depicting the many important things that must be done before Carnaval.
4th/5th Grade
The 4th and 5th graders used atlases to research a migrant family's travels and then created their own maps.
6th/7th Grade

The 6th and 7th graders took notes on rain forests and the animal that live there and then turned the library into a rainforest.
