Bart King Came to Rigler

We were thrilled to have local author Bart King come visit Rigler in March. He made us laugh and grossed us out-it was an excellent visit!

Bart King has written great non-fiction books such as The Big Book of Girl Stuff, The Big Book of Boy Stuff and The Big Book of Gross Stuff. To prepare for his visit, the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at Rigler brainstormed three things-the best thing about their grade, advice they could give to a student coming into their grade and something they could teach us how to do. Then each student selected one of the three topics and created their own page, in the style of Bart King, to go into The Big Book of 3rd Grade Stuff, The Big Book of 4th Grade Stuff or The Big Book of 5th Grade Stuff. They did an amazing job and those books are now a part of the Rigler Library!
