Positive Behavior Supports Program

The Pioneer Program utilizes a positive behavior supports program to help our students develop their Skills for School Success. We break down the skills into three areas: Safety, Respect, and Responsibility. We teach these skills to our students in a variety of ways, and then positively recognize our students as they acquire the skills for school success on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Each day our staff positively recognize students for applying the skills of Safety, Respect, and Responsibility by awarding them Pioneer Tickets. At the end of the day we raffle off reinforcing items using the Pioneer Tickets earned that day.

Once a week all students participate in a school-wide PBS assembly. The purpose of this assembly is to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, as they continue to acquire the skills of Safety, Respect, and Responsibility.
