Meet Mr. Hildner:
I'm in the 20th grade! I went to Sunset Elementary (K-5th grade), Willamette
Middle (6th-8th), West Linn High (9th-12th), Southern Oregon University (13th-16th),
Loyola University Chicago (17th), Lewis & Clark College (18th & 19th), and
Portland State University (20th). I have a BS in Psychology and an M.Ed. in School Counseling
This is my 5th year of teaching, second year with PPS, and my first year
at Peninsula. When not at school I enjoy backpacking, parenting, and working
in my community.
I joined the Peace Corps in 2002 and lived in Honduras for 3.5 years.
I can't believe that was almost 10 years ago! As a result, my wife
(from Honduras) and I speak only Spanish at home with our two sons.
My favorite learning moment happened in the rural mountains of Honduras
where I had the opportunity to paint world maps with local kids as young as 7.
