Hi eveyone! We have been so busy in Rm. 118 lately that the year seems to be flying by!! September and Ocotber were busy months filled with mapping in Social Studies, studying mulitiplication tables in math,(with a little algebra for good measure) We also managed to find some time for art and students worked on self portraits and crayon relief pictures. Last month we moved into geometry and dabbled in science. We are still using maps for Social Studies and will be starting Science after the winter break. It was nice to meet parents last month and I want to thank you for your support! This month we have had our first field trip and traveled to the play at Portland Center Stage. Next month we will travel to the Waste Treatment Plant on Columbia in a culiminating activity for our watershed study. We will also be starting our OAKS testing.
