Rachel Bogdanoff, Spanish & ESL Teacher

Sra. B. is a Penn State undergrad, has a Villanova teaching license and a Master's from Portland State. She started her teaching career in Japan, and then taught for one year in the Beaverton School District. She started at PPS in 2000 at West Sylvan and came to Peninsula in 2007. Most of her time spent outside school is spent with her son and daughter. Sra. B. loves  travel, music, eating out, hiking and the beach. She spends her summers on the east coast visiting family and friends. Something you may not know about Sra.B. is that she has climbed Mt. Fuji, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helen's and Mt. Adams!
Sra. B. says, "One of my favorite memories here at Peninsula was a field trip I took with a group of 2nd graders (who are now 6th graders) to Chinatown after we had read a story about a little boy taking in the sites and sounds of another Chinatown...we rode the Max, explored and had a great Chinese lunch...I wish I had more opportunities to take trips like that with my students."
