During the first week of each new school year, and during the first week a new procedure is implemented, each classroom teacher will conduct a lesson on playground behavior. These lessons will consist of a discussion of the rules. The teacher should actually take the students on a tour of the playground to discuss off-limit areas. The teacher will go through the rules and then spend time teaching and conflict resolution strategies.
** NOTE: Due to high student mobility rate, teachers will review playground expectations at the beginning of each trimester.
