Todd has 32 years of teaching experience with 5 years at Peninsula. He enjoys snowboarding, surfing, and biking. Todd says his only talent is cooking.
Favorite moment as an educator: "Getting off a plane in the Denver airport at the start of a vacation, and having a lovely young woman step out of the crown and cry "Mr Haywood!" and give me a big hug. Luckily, I recognized her. She had been a student of mine years before when I taught 6th grade. She told me she had become a teacher because of me! She was teaching 6th grade in Denver and meeting her sister on the same flight."
