I have worked for Portland Public Schools since January 1989. I started at Roosevelt High School as the attendance secretary. In August 1991, I moved to Grant High School and was the Targeted Services Secretary over the Bridge Program and the Vocational Mentoring Program. I became the Principal Secretary at Applegate Elementary in January 1998 when the secretary retired. I then moved to Vernon Elementary in August of 2001. I was relocated to Ockley Green in August 2009 when Ms. Liz retired. I am very happy to be working at Ockley Green. I believe we have a great dedicated staff who enjoy what they do. I will be retiring from Portland Public Schools at the end of June 2012. I will truely miss the students, parents and community of Ockley Green Arts & Technology School.
I have 2 children, my Son, Robert lives in Arizona and has 2 daughters in Portland and a son along with 3 step-children in Arizona. My daughter, Regina lives in St. Helens with her 3 girls. I also have 5 chihuahua's (3 long hair and 2 short hair) who I refer to as "My 5 kids".
My favorite past-times are being with my grandchildren, reading, going to the beach, doing crafts and riding my motorcycle, a Harley Davidson Heritage Softtail Classic.
After I retire, I will be spending more time with family and friends which will include traveling to Arizona to visit my son and his family as well as more time at the beach.
