Kid's Community Learning Center (KCLC)
Kids Community Learning Center (KCLC) has been providing quality childcare at MLC for over 25 years. Our program is dedicated to providing an inclusive, safe and enriching environment for children during out of school time.

- Allow all KCLC participants to have a voice and choice in the activities that are planned and implemented

Youth in grades 6th through 8th can participate in our Teen Leadership Cooperative (TLC) which is a new program designed to offer more independence and leadership opportunities for older kids.
Late Openings and No-School Days
KCLC is open from 7:00AM to 6:00PM on no-school days including Teacher Planning Days, In-Service Days, Winter Break and Spring Break. KCLC is also open for Chapman families on Late Opening days. KCLC staff are in the classroom at 7AM and walk children to the bus at 9:30AM.
KCLC Summer Program
Summer Camp begins the first Monday after the last week of school and typically ends two weeks before the first day of school. We offer extended day programming from 7:30AM-6:00PM. Activities are planned based on weekly themes and kids enjoy one or more field trips per week. Summer Camp brochures will be available in April.
New in 2010, KCLC will be offering a Pre-K Summer Camp for 4 and 5 year olds!
Registering for KCLC programs
Please read through the Parent Handbook for more specific information and KCLC policies. Then print and return the appropriate registration forms and return to KCLC. Forms have to be complete before a child can attend a KCLC program.
