Enrollment Process at MLC

Metropolitan Learning Center is an alternative school that is an option for all students in the Portland Metro area. MLC does not have a neighborhood boundary, and enrolls students through a lottery process due to limited space. Students may apply from other Districts as well. If you have not yet, we strongly encourage you to explore your neighborhood program prior to submitting an enrollment form at MLC.

The enrollment window for the 2016-17 school year begins in November of 2015. Enrollment forms will be available starting in November in the main office at MLC or can be downloaded from the links listed below. Completed enrollment forms that are received on or before February 19th will be included in the lottery. Occasionally, spaces open during the school year, at which time our staff will look to the wait-list for enrollment. Due to our trimester schedule, we typically do not accept mid-year transfers for High School students.

For SY 2015-16 Kx3 Enrollment Packet (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade)
