About Mr. Miller
I was born in Detroit, but moved to this Seattle suburbs when I was 8. After graduating high school, I attended Central Washington University where I studied primatology and worked with four chimpanzees that communicated using American Sign Language. After college, I quickly found no use for my degree. Five years ago I moved to Portland and spent in 2009-2010 school year as a full-time AmeriCorps volunteer at Marshall High School in PPS. I loved working with students so much that I decided to pursue my Masters in Teaching degree from Lewis & Clark College. I finished the program in 2011 and spent the last half of the 2011-2012 school year teaching 7th grade at Dexter McCarty Middle School in Gresham. I couldn't be more excited about starting at Marysville this year.
