What can parents do at home to help their child succeed at school?
1. READ to your child.
2. READ with your child.
3. Listen to your child READ.
4. Encourage your child to write complete stories and then have them read them to you.
5. Practice every day math, while cooking, shopping, driving, and even watching TV together.
Our spring 2011 field trip to the zoo was a great success!
