Dear Families,
What a wild week! We had a lot of fun Tuesday doing snow activities. Check out the great haikus we wrote about our walk around the garden beds. They are in the hallway on the garden bulletin board.
The kindergarteners did a wonderful job performing at our Hope, Peace and Dream assembly last Friday. Thank you to all the parents who attended.
Attached you will find a fun game we played this week. Play it with your child. You can create your own games using the idea of rolling a number cube and drawing something. You can use larger numbers and use 2 number cubes, having to add the cubes together. If you create your own, send it in so we can try it in class!
We began our Animals 2x2 unit. Students are working in groups of four and created a habitat for a goldfish. Wednesday we added a goldfish! The students were very excited.
Next Thursday is Math and Science Night. I hope you will be able to attend. It will be in the gym from 8-7:30.
Attached is an important note about valentines. Please take the time to check it out!
Our special presents for you will be ready next Tuesday. They are very fragile. I hope that you will be able to come and get them some morning or afternoon in the next few weeks. If you can’t, please let me know and I will send it home with your child.
I will be out on Monday, but will be back Tuesday!
