About Us
Maplewood Rated "Outstanding" on the Oregon Report Card - They revised the report card last year to remove and rename the categories; we stayed at the highest category.
In the 2010-11 school year we are teaching about 350 students, (a new record for us!) in a neighborhood school that values a well-rounded education. Offering rich activities through our half-time Media Specialist, Half-Time P.E. Teacher, and half-time Computer Teacher gave each child more chances to learn and express themselves in their own way. They can now explore ways of experiencing the world that more closely match their gifts and challenges.
To Meet Us, and See our School, click on the School Tour link on the left side of our webpages - it will give information about the building, and also about Tours of the School.
Maplewood 100 Year Anniversary Coming in Sept, 2012! This "Memories of Maplewood" book was written by the Multnomah Historical Society, and tells details the history of the three buildings that have been on this site! Read it for interesting stories and pictures!
