I love learning how to be a better teacher from the community here at Madison. My wonderful students are a constant source of inspiration and my colleagues are consistently supportive.
I am passionate about the growth of my students, extending my range as a scholar, and broadening my own knowledge base. In fact, this year I am integrating some of the insights of cognitive psychologist Daniel Willingham into my curriculum in an effort to increase the rigor and attention span of my students.
I have a B.I.S. from the University of Minnesota and a M. Div. from Harvard University. My educational background includes classical languages (Greek and Latin), social studies as well as music and theater. I am excited and proud to be teaching Latin, AP U.S. History, Economics, and Government at Madison.
