Having had the opportunity to teach in New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area, and now Portland, I feel like I have been perfectly prepared to assist the diverse and unique population of Madison in preparing itself for life after high school. I consider myself a news-hound, and strive to keep myself aware of what a quickly changing, event-filled world we live in. A proud transplant to the Pacific Northwest, I encourage my students to inform themselves (through reading, researching and writing) of our unique region, and how it fits into the global community.
