|Offerings in the Social Sciences Department prepare students to be effective citizens in a rapidly changing global society. The curriculum provides courses to meet state graduation requirements. An array of elective courses offers history, area studies and the behavioral sciences and build upon Lincoln’s unique downtown location. The Department supports an interdisciplinary approach to teaching. Social Studies teachers are committed to the goals of the International Studies Center.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS: Modern World History (1 credit), United States History (1 credit), Government (1/2 credit), Economics (1/2 credit).
