Community Service

Welcome to Lincoln High School's Community Service website. We have many different opportunities for our students found on this very page. If you are a student, or parent, you will hopefully find your visit here helpful and informative. We have included contact information below to various organizations that we do business with on a continual basis as well as new avenues for service.

As far as your service obligation is concerned, you are only limited by your imagination. If you are able to serve the needs of any non-profit organization or even get creative and put together your own ideas into action, then you are able to count hours towards your service!

General Volunteer Opportunities

Hands On Portland is a local non-profit that connects volunteers with one-time projects that require no advance training or experience.
They offer a wide variety of opportunities and have a specific page for Teen Projects (led BY teens, FOR teens.) Click here to check it out!

Volunteermatch.com also caters to every interest and offers flexible service to students.

LHS Opportunities

Lincoln High School Campus-

You can earn community service by performing a specific task-of-the-week designed to improve the Lincoln campus and grounds. Another option is to adopt a portion of the grounds to maintain throughout the school year. Call Rhonda Curtis 503-297-6183, or email curtisfamily5@comcast.net for more info.
