Student Supports

LHS Student Supports

LHS has a variety of academic and social/emotional services and supports for all students. More targeted and specific programs are available for those students who are struggling. These general and specific supports include (but are not limited to):

  • Anti-bullying presentations in general education English classes
  • Peer Mediation programs
  • Special education services in academics
  • Substance abuse prevention programs
  • Dedicated Safety Resource Officer (SRO) and school nurse

Many programs exist and their effectiveness is documented in Lincoln's School Improvement Plan (SIP). It is important for parents, students, and teachers to know what the Lincoln community does to prevent academic and behavioral problems and how we can intervene early if problems arise. These three PowerPoint presentations will acquaint you with the programs and services at Lincoln, how our results are reported in the School Improvement Plan, and important contact information if a need arises.
