Lincoln Theatre Went International
In a nation-wide high school theatre competition, Lincoln's Theatre Department was selected to perform at the largest and most prestigious arts festival in the world - The Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. We performed at "The Fringe" during August 2011 at the American High School Theatre Festival venue. Two directors, one student playwright, 15 student actors, and one technician traveled to Scotland to participate.
The production that traveled across the pond with us is our seventh annual New Works Festival - Trek Electric. The festival was comprised of a 90-minute play, written by three different student playwrights. The entire festival was performed at Lincoln in February/March of 2011.
