3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been experimenting with various media including watercolor and acrylic paint, oil pastels on acetate, soft pastels, copic markers, and paper collage. We have talked about line quality and how to create it with different media. We have learned about value through the use of soft and hard graphite pencils and sticks, texture using a variety of media, and line through the use of copic markers and paints.
