Halfway through the year - 2nd semester.
6th grade will be working in the Animals textbook. We have finished up our study of Cells. The students made beautiful and creative cell models. As soon as I learn how to upload photos to the website, I will post some images of their work.
7th and 8th grades have switched at the begining of January from Astronomy to Inside Earth. We are currently learning about the Plate Tectonics. The students will be making models of the planet showing the layers of Earth's interior and such things as the mid-ocean ridge and subduction zones.
