Below is information found to be useful for parents and students getting started at Jackson Middle School and as an on going reference while attending Jackson. This section contains information often thought of as the FAQs.
Contents:
- Emergency Information for school operational status. This site is the Portland Information Network. The site reports information status for Portland schools such as snow route, snow day, information.
- Field Trip Permission Form. Forget or lost a field trip permission form? Download a copy of the trip permission form here, print it, fill it out, and have your student return it to school for an upcoming trip. Normal practice is to have forms sent home with students. This is intended as a backup option.
- Other services provided at or near Jackson. Services include the Portland Parks and Recreation and an emerging after-school program. These services are not a part of JMS, but the facilities are on-campus and may add value to the student's daily experience.
