Students, board support No One Eats Alone Day

January 28, 2015
Students from Beaumont and Roseway Heights, accompanied by their principal and counselor, spoke to the board in favor of ending social isolation through No One Eats Alone Day. Roseway Heights K-8 School and Beaumont Middle School students spoke during the Jan. 28 board meeting about the work of students and counselors to end social isolation by participating in No One Eats Alone Day Feb. 13.

Marysville MindUP program transforms school

January 27, 2015
Every student at Marysville, including these kindergarteners, participate in mindfulness exercises to improve focus. A school-wide mindfulness program, MindUP, has helped Marsyville K-8 School reduce referrals, create a kind, happy, healthy school climate, and teach students of all grades be better focused to learn.

Congrats to the Lincoln Coding Club for creating its first app. The Lincoln High School Coding Club recently creating a ticket app for the school to ease the time students spend in line.
