Irvington's PTA supports the mission and objectives of the national PTA, which strives to support children and their families in all areas of education. Irvington's PTA raises over $100,000 annually for music and art programs, field trips, playground enhancements, special events and classroom supplies. By becoming a member of Irvington's PTA, you add your voice and your support to our school community. Monthly meetings provide a chance for parents and teachers to make key decisions about their school, and occasional guest speakers help inform and educate PTA members about topics ranging from school funding to math activities for kids.

All members of our school community are all invited to join the PTA. Membership dues are a $10 donation per year but can be waived for financial hardship. You do NOT have to be a PTA member to attend PTA meetings and make your voice heard. Please join us!

PTA meetings

PTA meetings are generally the first Monday of each month. Meetings are held in the school library from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. PTA provides free childcare during meetings for children 3 years old and up.

Irvington parents volunteer to staff the clothing center at specific times throughout the year. The center accepts clothing that is clean, in season and in good condition. They especially need clothing for teenagers. Donations can be dropped off at the center . Call for the hours. They can also be boxed and labeled for the Clothing Center at Marshall Campus and sent on the PONY.

Monetary donations can be mailed to Jackee Duvall, Treas., 2246 SE 90th Ave., Portland, OR 97216. You will receive a tax donation receipt in the mail. If you have specific questions please contact Sharon Meigh-Chang at 503-293-0783
