- Bachelor of Science Oregon State (Go Beavs!!) in Mathematics Education
- Master of Science in Teaching Portland State in Mathematics
- Working on Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Portland State focus on Mathematics, area of research is "Building Mathematical Capital for Scuess in Middle School"
- Relevant Work History:
- Taught high school in Vernonia, Oregon
- Last 20 years taught middle school at Reynolds Middle School prior to joining the Hosford staff last year. I also work with Oregon Council of Teachers of Mathematics Professional Development Cadre to help train and support mathematics teachers through the state.
- Teaching Philosophy:
- If you can do math you can do anything (says it on my licence plate) and all students can learn math. There is a mathematician with in us waiting for the right opportunity to bloom. My job is foster that blooming and help with the right conditions to allow the bloom to grow to it's greatest potential.

- Math, learning, dance, my children & Cleveland High School sports
