Shopping is Fundraising

Use gift cards purchased through PTA to do your shopping. There is no cost to you!

There are gift cards for groceries, restaurants, retailers, automotive, and much more. You just fill out an order and submit it to the main office by the dates listed below. The gift cards arrive on Friday of the same week so you can use them for your regular purchases. There is no cost to you-if you purchase $100 in gift cards you receive $100. The merchants charge our PTA a little less and that's how we raise funds for school and classroom activities. It's easy!

Orders due on March 5, April 2, May 7, and June 4.

Dear Families,

Remember homework is due on Thursdays, even though I didn’t manage to change the papers for the essays. Thursday-to-Thursday gives families with busy weeknight schedules a chance to work on the weekends. Also know that in addition to regular weekly assignments I will occasionally send home handwriting or math games (to put in you homework math box you made the first week of school). This week I did send home a math game to play. It went home on Monday and can be turned in next week- Tuesday.

I am not sending home reading homework, but studies have shown third graders should read 20-30 minutes every night in order to stay at grade level. In order to be above grade level they need to read even more each day.
