About Forecasting
Each school year, students forecast for the classes they would like the following school year. The forecasting process is extremely important. Counselors will present information to students and then meet with students one-on-one to go over their choices. Students should discuss their choices with their teachers, parents, and counselor. A verification ticket goes out in late spring detailing what classes students have forecasted for. This is the time for students to make any changes before schedules are created.
