What Grant Offers
Constitution Team, Science Bowl, Robotics Club, BioOlympiad, Science Fair, Chess Club, Amnesty International, Mathematics Association of America Competitions, Saturday Academy, Reed Scholars Program, PSU Challenge Program, BYU Online courses, "credit by examination" and numerous other extracurricular clubs and opportunities. Students and parents should check our TAG bulletin board weekly for new opportunities, classes, internships, competitions and clubs for all Grant High School students to take advantage of. The daily bulletin also updates students on new opportunities. TAG students interested in planning and preparation for college/university can utilize our College and Career Center and/or request assistance from the counseling department. Examples of advanced courses at Grant High School are: AP Biology, AP Physics, AP English Language and Composition, PSU English 7-8 (12th grade), PSU Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Chemistry, PSU World Civilizations, AP Government, AP Economics, AP European History, French, Spanish and Japanese. We also offer Philosophy/Ethics/Comparative Religions, Advanced Art/Ceramics/Photography, Theater, Choral, Band, Business, and Latin to name just a few. All of our advanced/accelerated courses are explained in detail in our course guide. The course guide is revised each year to reflect any changes to the upcoming school year.
