Welcome to Mrs. Kniep's ELD Class
George is an amazing school to teach! It is truly a global, very diverse place! Most of our students speak two or more languages at home. I love to learn about their home traditions, customs, and to learn how to say words in their languages. I have worked at George since 1999, and taught Newcomer Literacy, English Language Development, Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Cultures, and Russian Literacy. This year I work with English language learners supporting their English language development.

Rosetta Stone is availalble to Beginner ELLs to practice at home. Students need to see Mrs. Kniep or Mr. Vargas for their log-in and password information.
Portaportal is a collection of websites for English Language Learners to practice their skills. Mrs. Kniep's students can access it by loggin-in as eslpps.
