What is Math Workshop?
Math Workshop is an explore class that uses technology to support students' math and reading skills and is offered to all grades at George Middle School. The purpose of the class is to use fun and interactive computer programs to design a course for each individual student that allows them the opportunity to improve their academic skills at their own pace. By using the computer programs we are able to assess and target each inidiviual student whether it is helping them to succeed at grade level or pushing them to reach above and beyond, Academic Support is an integral part of the curriculum here at George.
