December 2012: Congratulations to Jahmian Howard Carey who was selected by the National Football Foundation as the football lineman of the year at the NFF Scolar Athlete Banquet last night. He was chosen for his work in the classroom and on the football field.
FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2012! Congrats to Jahmain Howard-Carey First team All League defensive tackle and second team offensive tackle, Wade Ransom second team All League linebacker, Henry Maroney second team All League kicker, and Joe Aguilar Honorable Mention running back. Great job.
MEN'S SOCCER! First Team: Joseph Dessou (midfield), Jose 'Chica' Maravilla (defender), and Henry Maroney (midfield). Second Team: Hisham Abdull Wahab (forward/defender) and Quinn Nottage (goalkeeper). Honorable Mention: Francisco Lopez (defender). Coach Jeremy Sarant was named Coach of the Year!
WOMEN'S SOCCER! First Team: Valentina Tran (midfield) and Miriam Vazquez (striker). Second Team: Marissa Patterson (center midfield) and Jordyn Summers (goalkeeper). Honorable Mention: Lauren Lapping (defense), Jessica Wong (striker) and Zoe Naimo (defense).
DAIRY FARMERS OF OREGON ACADEMIC ALL-STATE! Congratulations to the Men's Cross Country Team for their top ten placement (8th) with a gpa of 3.63! Women’s Soccer was included in the Academic All-State with a gpa of 3.62, as was Volleyball for its gpa of 3.44.
