We have raised funds for the Brazilian drumming troupe, field trips, a reader board, and the traverse/climbing wall! We have provided volunteers and assistance for school functions, and planned events like the Book Fair and the annual BBQ and Talent Show night.

Want to get in on this fun? Business meetings are generally held the 3rd Wednesday of the every other month at 6:30 (with childcare), but check the calendar to be sure. Evening General Meeting/Family Events will be held throughout the year. We have a PTA bulletin board just inside the main entrance, with a volunteer sign-up for upcoming events.

The mission of Faubion PTA, in cooperation with Portland PTA, Oregon PTA, and National PTA is...

  • to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.
  • to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children.
  • to encourage parent and public involvement in public schools of this nation.

Faubion Elementary PTA, as an affiliated constituent of Oregon PTA, pledges that membership in PTA shall be open, without discrimination, to anyone who believes in and supports the mission and purposes of National PTA.
