Overall Grading

• Unit tests - 35%
• Class and Group Participation- 27.5%
• Homework - 27.5%
• Check-ups/Quizzes - 10%

Homework (27.5%)

• Will be given daily
• 5 possible points
• No late homework accepted (unless worked out with Mr. Homberg)
• Homework is not considered late if turned in by the end of the week
• Students are required to make all homework missed due to being absent
• No homework will be given on Friday unless student does not complete class work

How is Homework graded?

• 2 points for completion
• 1 point for neatness
• 2 point if all work is shown (not just answers)

Class and Group Participation (27.5%)

• 5 possible points per day during individual work
• 20 points per week for group projects
• Class Participation will be kept track of by class participation sheets
• Group Participation will be graded using group score sheets (half of the points will be awarded by the teacher and half by other group members)

Check-ups / Quizzes (10%)

How are check-ups graded?

• 2 points for completion
• 1 point for neatness
• 2 points if all work is shown (not just answers)

Unit Tests (35%)
