Animal Friends
I saw a little rabbit come. Hop, hop, hop!
(jump, with hands like paws in front)
A friendly duck came too. Quack, quack, quack!
(open and close hand in front of mouth)
A squirrel scurried down the tree,
(motion upward)
With a bird the color blue. Tweet, tweet, tweet!
(flap arms)
I said to all the animals, "Won't you please stay?"
(palms up, questioning)
But when it started raining—pitter, pitter, pat,
(wiggle fingers down)
They all ran away.
(make fingers "run" outward)
