Faubion SUN Community School

What is SUN?

 

Faubion SUN Community School is an after school program that promotes student success by extending the school day through enrichment activities and homework assistance. SUN (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) also provides adult classes & workshops as well as family events. Community Schools serve as mini "community centers" by keeping a public building open & active in after school hours, and bringing youth & family opportunites directly to the neighborhood and school community. It’s a non-traditional way for you and the neighborhood to get in touch with the school. SUN is not a daycare program. For more information check out www.sunschools.org .
