Hello All!

Here is the latest “Speech Scoop”:

We have a new intern from Portland State. Her name is LeeAnne Moyer, and she is a wonderful addition to our speech-language program. She will be with us until spring break, and then she will head back to the university to complete her graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology. She is loving getting to know all of the wonderful children and middle school students here at Faubion.

As always, your students in the Speech and Language Program are working hard towards meeting their communication goals. Some examples of the goals they have been working on are accurate sound production, using regular and irregular past tense, using a variety of methods to find the meaning of unknown words, social perspective taking, and healthy voice use.
