Howard Goldstein

Welcome to the school year. I am excited to have your child in my class.

I will try to keep you posted on current assignments via this web page.

PARENT LETTER

It is very important to remember that when your child is absent he or she should speak to me upon their return and find out what work they have missed and the process for making up this work. This is even more important this year with kids being gone for more than just a day or two.

A reminder that I will always accept late work up until the end of each quarter.  However the value in points does decrease the later the work is turned in.  A student will always get something for their effort.

We have begun the ecology and environmental science curriculum.  Right now we are beginning to learn about ecosystems and interactions within them.  We will be discussing the idea of "natural selection" and how species develop adaptations over time.
