Traffic & Parking at da Vinci:
Please help us be a good neighbor, by traveling EAST on Everett when dropping off/picking up your student. If planning to stay awhile, please park in the lot behind the school. For special events, please use the blacktop. And be sure that even at pick-up or drop off time that you are not blocking a neighbor's driveway. THANKS!

OUTDOOR SCHOOLAll 6th graders need to be at school on Sunday, October 26th by 2:50 pm.
Buses leave promptly at 3:00 pm.

Parents, please do not park in front of the school, as that's where the buses need to park!

Paper conference sign up sheets are in the hallway outside the main office.  Haven't made a plan? At this point most science & math teachers have schedules that are completely full, but you can still set up a time to meet with the core teacher. Call the office, if you or your student cannot stop by the office.

High school info nights for 8th graders

Learn about your neighborhood high school or focus schools Benson and Jefferson. Information sessions for 8th graders start in November with Wilson, Cleveland and Grant. 


Youngest readers receive reading calendars during conferences

October 28, 2014
Stacks of Multnomah County Library reading calendars were distributed to schools by language needs this week. Nearly 17,000 Portland Public Schools kindergartener, first, second, and third graders will take home special Multnomah County Library Reading Calendar Tips during parent/teacher conferences this week. The distribution fosters a culture of reading and helps parents support young readers.

Former U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords, D-Arizona, was in Portland Oct. 21 leading a roundtable focused on the intersection of domestic violence with gun violence, reported Grant Magazine.
