Traffic & Parking at da Vinci:
Please help us be a good neighbor, by traveling EAST on Everett when dropping off/picking up your student. If planning to stay awhile, please park in the lot behind the school. For special events, please use the blacktop. And be sure that even at pick-up or drop off time that you are not blocking a neighbor's driveway. THANKS!

We are hoping to get them in the mail by Friday, but we might need to give them out the first day of school. Hang in there, we are all in this together!

Help students who've left reconnect to school

August 26, 2014
Accelerating the increase in the graduation rate and getting all students to graduate prepared for college and career is a top priority for Superintendent Carole Smith. Now you can help. On Saturday Sept. 13 from 8:30 am to 1 pm, join PPS staff in visiting the homes of students who have left and help them Reconnect to Their Future. 

PPS welcomes more than 400 new teachers

Portland Public Schools welcomed hundreds of new teachers Aug. 21 at New Teacher Orientation, where teachers met each other and district leaders and learned about everything from the Portland Association of Teachers to the student information system Synergy. 


School board grants superintendent first merit raise in seven-year tenure

The Portland School Board voted Aug. 4 to grant Superintendent Carole Smith the first merit raise of her seven-year tenure.
