International Baccalaureate
The International Baccalaureate is a rigorous, internationally-recognized pre-university course of study that will prepare its students for competitive college admissions and for the rigors of college level work.
The International Baccalaureate Organization was founded in the 1960s, resulting from an effort to establish a common curriculum and university entry credential for geographically mobile students. It is a chartered foundation under Swiss civil code with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Since 2000, students at Cleveland have the opportunity to earn a full IB Diploma, earn one or more IB Certificates in individual subject areas, or simply enroll in single IB classes.
