I am honored to be part of the staff here at Chief Joseph. The faculty and more importantly the students are all the best I have been around.
You can find me teaching Music here all day Monday and in the morning on Tuesdays. Please feel free to stop by the portable and introduce yourself or send me an e-mail. I'd love to hear from you about your childs experience in music class.
One of my major goals this and every year is to increase music literacy. The third though fifth graders will be compsing their own melodies and kids even down to the Pre-K level will be reading music notation. All students will gain experience with xylohones, percussion and other instruments. Students will also be singing a variety of songs which will culminate in a Spring time performance.
